## What bklink does

### Backlink audits

Upload a list of placements — a CSV, a PDF report from a vendor, or a spreadsheet — or scan a domain for the links already pointing at it. bklink fetches every linking page and records whether the link is followed, nofollow or sponsored, removed, or on a dead page, so you know what you actually received.

### Shared-server network detection

Every publication is resolved to the IP address, hosting network and country it serves from. Ten or more domains on one address is flagged as a network, which is how a list of "independent" news sites turns out to be one operator — in bklink's public sample report, 70% of 173 placements shared a server.

### Link valuation

The profile is re-priced against what comparable links sell for, adjusted for traffic and category, and discounted for co-hosting and syndicated copies. The result is a range, so you can compare what you paid with what the links are worth. Every rate and discount is published in [how bklink values a backlink and a property](https://bklink.uk/methodology).

### Status re-checks

Re-run the live checks on an existing report for $1.00 to catch links that were removed or stripped after you paid. The report dates every change, which is what you show a vendor when you ask for a replacement.

### [Google index checks](https://bklink.uk/google-index-checker) and [instant indexing](https://bklink.uk/link-indexer)

Check whether Google has indexed a list of pages for $0.01 a URL. The ones it has not are sorted by their odds — likely, possible, or can't be indexed as they stand — and you send any group to Google's indexing pipeline for $0.15 a URL. Google decides what it indexes, so indexing is not guaranteed and not refunded.

### Disavow files and shareable reports

Turn the links you do not want into a Google-ready [disavow file](https://bklink.uk/disavow-tool), and export any report as a PDF or a share link for a client. The report you send is the same evidence you audited.

## What makes bklink different

### You pay per audit, not per month

An audit costs $1.00 for up to 400 links and never more than $6.32, with no subscription. Ahrefs' cheapest plan is $29 a month (Lite, its first full plan, is $129), Semrush starts at $139 a month, Majestic at $49.99 a month and SE Ranking at $129 a month — and none of them sells a single report without a subscription.

### Every link is fetched live, not read from an index

bklink loads each page you paid a link on at the moment you run the audit. Ahrefs, Semrush, Majestic and SE Ranking report links from their own crawler indexes — Majestic's Fresh Index covers the last 120 days — so a link removed last week can still show as live; the one competitor that re-crawls per report, LinkResearchTools, starts at $599 a month.

### The links you placed, not just the domains

SeLinkPro and DiagnoSEO screen domains: third-party authority metrics and shared server IPs for a list of sites, which is useful before you buy. bklink audits the placements after they are delivered: whether the link you paid for is on that page, whether it is followed, whether the page still resolves, and what that one placement is worth.

### Networks are named, not just counted

Index-based tools report how many referring IPs and subnets a site has. bklink groups the specific links you placed by the server they share and names the cluster, because ten "different" publications on one address are one purchase, not ten.

### The valuation method is published

Every rate, multiplier and discount bklink applies is on its [methodology page](https://bklink.uk/methodology), read from the same code that prices your report, with a worked example the model computes itself. Tools that sell a "link value" or "authority" score do not publish the formula behind it.

### Numbers are labelled for what they are

Domain Rating on bklink is Ahrefs' DR, read from the Ahrefs API, and nothing else is ever called DR. Valuations are ranges of comparable sale prices, stated as estimates, never a single number presented as an appraisal.

### Pages that cannot be indexed are refused before you pay

Before it charges for indexing, bklink reads every page: one that is dead, redirects, says noindex, points its canonical elsewhere, is blocked by robots.txt, has under 300 words, or sits on a site Google lists nothing of is refused and named, with the reason. Indexers that charge first leave you to find that out after the money is spent.

## Who uses bklink

- SEO and digital PR agencies of 2 to 50 people that buy guest posts and press-release placements for clients and need to prove what was delivered.
- In-house SEO and content teams at B2B SaaS and e-commerce companies that audit link vendors before renewing them.
- Founders and marketing leads at startups who ran a press-release distribution package and want to know what it produced.
- Link-building vendors who want an independent report to hand their own clients.
- Consultants cleaning up a site's link profile, who need a disavow list backed by evidence.

## The team behind bklink

### Palash Bagchi, founder

Palash is the founder of Immortal Reality PA LLC and builds bklink, alongside leading product for the company's AI infrastructure work, with a focus on making advanced systems easier to deploy, monitor and trust. ### How bklink started

bklink launched on 5 August 2026 to answer a question most link buyers never check: whether the placements they paid for are real. Its first public audit, now the sample report, covered 173 links placed through a press-release distributor — 161 of them two articles republished, none of them followed, and $0 of estimated value.

### The company

bklink is founder-led and operated by Immortal Reality PA LLC, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It also publishes [mxverify](https://mxverify.uk/), a free backlink value checker: what one link from any website is worth, with how audited links behaved.

## How bklink works

- **Onboarding:** sign up with Google or your email, no card. Your account starts with $1.00 of credit; name a project and the next screen is the upload.
- **Turnaround:** the median audit has finished in about two minutes for roughly 100 links; lists of over a thousand take up to half an hour. The report fills in while it runs.
- **What you receive:** an in-app report, a PDF, and a share link for your client, plus a disavow file if you want one.
- **Payment:** top up your wallet from $10 by card through Stripe. Every action shows its price before it runs, and unspent balance is refundable.
- **Communication:** email [support@bklink.uk](mailto:support@bklink.uk). You reach the founder directly, and we aim to reply within two business days.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is bklink?

bklink is a forensic backlink audit tool. It fetches every page you paid a link on, records whether the link is followed, stripped to nofollow, removed or on a dead page, and resolves each publication to the server it runs on so networks of co-hosted sites show up.

### How much does a backlink audit cost?

$1.00 per audit for up to 400 links. A longer list costs more, never more than $6.32, and one audit covers up to 5,000 links. New accounts get $1.00 of credit, which covers one audit of up to 400 links, with no card required.

### Do I need a subscription?

No. bklink is a prepaid wallet: you top up (from $10), pay per action, and any unspent balance is refundable. Nothing renews.

### How is bklink different from Ahrefs or Semrush?

Ahrefs and Semrush report links from their own crawler indexes and sell monthly subscriptions. bklink fetches each linking page when you run the audit, groups the links you placed by the server they share, and charges per audit.

### How is bklink different from SeLinkPro or DiagnoSEO?

SeLinkPro and DiagnoSEO check domains in bulk: authority metrics, referring domains and shared server IPs, which helps you screen a vendor's list before you buy. bklink audits the placements after delivery: it opens each page you paid for, checks the link is there and followed, groups the placements by the server they share and values each one.

### How long does an audit take?

The median audit on bklink has finished in about two minutes for roughly 100 links. Lists of over a thousand links take up to half an hour; the report fills in as it runs.

### Is the link valuation an appraisal?

No. It is an estimate of what comparable links have sold for, discounted for co-hosting and syndicated copies, shown as a range. It is not a prediction of rankings or of what anyone will pay. The full method, with every rate, is at bklink.uk/methodology.

### Is indexing guaranteed?

No. Instant indexing sends each URL to Google's indexing pipeline within minutes, and Google decides whether and when to index it. bklink checks every URL before it charges and refuses pages that cannot be indexed as submitted; once sent, a URL is not refunded. Each one has a link to check it in Google yourself.
