Backlink audit
Did you get the links you paid for?
Upload the placement list a link vendor or PR distributor sold you, or just scan your website. bklink checks every link live, exposes co-hosted networks posing as diverse placements, and puts a defensible dollar value on what you actually got.
- 1Verify link statusLive, dead or nofollow — every link checked at audit time.
- 2Detect shared hostingEvery publication traced to its server, so a network can't pose as many sites.
- 3Estimate real valueA defensible dollar value per link, from independent data.

The problem
You already know the distribution game is rigged.
Junk in disguise
"Diverse" placements that turn out to live on the exact same cheap, shared hosting cluster.
70%
Mystery ROI
Premium invoices paid with no way to put a defensible number on what you actually received.
$0
Silent link rot
Links that quietly go dark weeks after you pay, degrading the authority they carried.

The real footprint
Resolve every host, IP, ASN and follow state.
Go beyond a vendor's link count. One pass resolves where each publication actually lives — and how much of the list quietly shares infrastructure.
The vendor
Give every vendor's delivery its own verdict.
Upload each vendor's list as its own campaign and each one is audited on its own — how many of its placements are live, followed and independently hosted, and what the list is worth. That is the evidence for deciding whether the vendor is worth paying again.
The link
Catch link rot before your client does.
Re-check every URL whenever you want and the dollar value recalculates around what is still live — a status check is a flat $1.00 however long the list, with no vendor lookups to pay for.

The important finding
70% of the publication footprint — 119 of 171 resolvable publications — resolves to a small number of shared, co-hosted clusters, the largest of which alone accounts for 9%.
| Rank | Publication / target article | Live follow state | Market value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 75 | Client Expands Regional Operations into Enterprise Logistics | No link | $0 |
| 41 | Client Expands Regional Operations with Tech Fleet Overhaul | No link | $0 |
| 33 | Business Weekly Coverage: Q3 Industry Survey Results | Dead (404) | $0 |
Pricing
From a dollar an audit. No subscription, ever.
You add funds to a wallet and each action deducts its price when it runs. Nothing renews, nothing is billed monthly, and unspent balance is refundable at any time.
Backlink audit
Up to 400 links. Longer lists cost more — never more than $6.32.
Status re-check
Re-verify every URL and re-price the report around what is still live.
Per URL. Sent to Google within minutes; pages that cannot be indexed are refused before you pay. Not guaranteed, not refunded.
What does a bklink audit check?
bklink loads every page you paid a link on at the moment you run the audit and records whether your link is there, whether it is followed, nofollow or sponsored, and whether the page still resolves. Each publication is resolved to the server, hosting network and country it serves from, shown with its Ahrefs Domain Rating, and the profile is valued as a range after discounts for co-hosting and syndicated copies.
How is this different from Ahrefs, Semrush or other backlink tools?
Index-based tools report links from their own crawler's last visit, so a link removed last week can still show as live. bklink fetches each page when you run the audit, groups the links you placed by the server they share and names the cluster, and publishes the method behind its valuations. It complements those tools rather than replacing them.
Can I use the report to get a replacement or refund from my vendor?
Yes. The report records the state of every link on the date it was checked, and a status re-check dates every change since. Send the vendor the PDF or a share link: it shows which placements are missing, nofollow or on dead pages, which is the evidence a replacement request needs.
How does pricing work?
There is no subscription. You top up a prepaid wallet from $10 and each action deducts its price when it runs: $1.00 per audit for up to 400 links (never more than $6.32), $1.00 per website scan of up to 1,000 backlinks, $1.00 per status re-check, $0.01 per URL index check and $0.15 per URL for instant indexing. Every price is shown before you run anything, and unspent balance is refundable.
How do I get my backlinks into bklink?
Upload the list your vendor sent — CSV, spreadsheet, PDF or Word (.docx) — or paste the URLs. To audit links already pointing at your site, run a website scan of your domain instead.
How do I find out if a link is removed later?
Run a status re-check on the report. Every link is fetched again, anything removed, nofollowed or dead since the last run is listed with the date it changed, and bklink emails you when a re-check finds lost links. Checks run when you ask for them; there is no background monitoring yet.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. bklink reads the public pages your links are on and public DNS records. There is no script, plugin or Search Console access to set up.
Is bklink suitable for SEO agencies?
Yes. Keep one project per client site, audit each vendor delivery as it arrives, and hand the client a PDF or share link of the same report you audited. Links you want gone export as a Google-ready disavow file. You pay per audit, so a quiet month costs nothing.
Are my backlink lists private?
Your lists, target domains, what you paid and your reports are visible only to you and whoever you send a share link to. Publication-level results, such as a publication's server and how its links behaved when audited, feed the public mxverify directory without naming you or your site. URLs you submit for indexing are listed on mxverify, because that is how they are put in front of Google.
Can bklink get my pages indexed by Google?
bklink checks whether Google has a page, refuses the ones that cannot be indexed as they stand, and sends the rest to Google's indexing pipeline within minutes for $0.15 a URL. Google decides what it indexes, so indexing is not guaranteed and a sent URL is not refunded; each one links straight to Google so you can check it yourself.
Are the valuations appraisals?
No. They are estimates of what comparable links have sold for, not what a link will earn you or what anyone will pay for it. Every report states a range rather than a single figure, and the full method is published on the methodology page.
